General navigation

If you prefer to watch a video explaining how to filter, it can be found at the bottom of this article.

Open a report by clicking on the name in the workspace.

The below image highlight key areas for navigation and information.

Under the menu ribbon there are various options available for interacting with this report which we will not be covering in this article, however there are many articles and videos online that will further assist in your understanding.  For those familiar with the Microsoft office offerings, these options will be familiar.

You can select each filter and either filter by groups,

or by extended filters.

To clear all set filters, simply refresh the view to return to the view set by the report creator.

Reports can be filtered in multiple ways.  You can filter at

  • Header level (Apply filter to all pages in the report)

  • Data level (Apply filter to current page only)

Do note, that if a filter is applied at Data level, and you switch to another page then that filter is not retained.

And that is all the information you need to start using your reports.
